So this weekend was a really fun one, packed with all kinds of events and projects. There was a birthday party for my friend Jeff Kneely first. That was a great time, with BBQ, trampolines, lots of people, a rock climbing wall, cake, and a broken TV. I got some great photos of all the action.
The next event was one that I was really looking forward to starting. You see, it’s been unusually hot here the past week, getting no colder than 98 degrees. I decided to splurge a little bit on myself, and I took a trip down to my local Wal- Mart to pick up an above ground pool to put in the backyard. I couldn’t believe the selection they had going there! All kinds of shapes and sizes. It was a tough decision, but in the end I went with the 12’ round by 3.5’ deep pool with metal supports. I felt that I was definitely getting the most for my buck, and walked away with a new pool, chlorine tablets, and a cover for $170. Not bad at all. Enjoy the photos!
